Our teachers are in short supply

There is an emerging crisis in education in Benambra.

Schools say they are struggling to attract teachers. Jobs that once attracted 10-plus applicants get one or two, sometimes none.

Leading educators say already stressed and over-worked teachers are being burdened with an ever-increasing workload and the status quo is simply not sustainable.
