Pallas Lets Slip On Werribee Betrayal

Local Labor Member and Treasurer Tim Pallas today admitted in Parliament that late last year Werribee South was not even in the top 16 preferred locations for a new SuperMax youth jail.
Yet somehow, by January, Werribee South had become the Andrews Labor Government’s top choice for a new SuperMax facility.
As Treasurer, Tim Pallas was intimately involved in the decision to ignore 16 other preferred site options and impose a SuperMax jail on Werribee South.
Tim Pallas’ admission today has exposed his betrayal of his constituents.
Tim Pallas has intervened to commit an act of bastardry on the very people he is supposed to represent.
