Marsha Thomson’s Ministerial Suite

In Parliament’s Estimates hearings today, the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources admitted that it had been ordered by the Andrews Government to provide a ministerial suite for backbencher Marsha Thomson.
The Department refused to explain why Marsha Thomson needed her own ministerial suite as a backbencher and admitted that they were not permitted to directly provide her with policy information or briefings.
It seems that if you’re a backbencher who is mates with Daniel Andrews he will hand you ministerial perks, but if you’re a minister that dares stand up to him you either get the sack or your mobile phone confiscated.
Daniel Andrews ought to come clean on this murky arrangement between him and Marsha Thomson and explain why he is handing her taxpayer funded perks.
