Victoria in danger of SA-style blackouts

South Australia’s continual power blackouts are a wake-up call to Daniel Andrews about the consequences of his obsession with renewable energy at the expense of affordable and more secure coal generated electricity.
Last night, South Australia experienced yet another power blackout with 40,000 homes and businesses losing electricity because of a fall in supply from wind generated power.  These are third world conditions.
Australia is among the richest energy nations in the world and yet Australian consumers and industry pay more for energy than their overseas competitors and trade partners.
Daniel Andrews is taking Victoria down the same path as South Australia with his over-the-top, go-it-alone renewable energy targets which will undermine our energy security and push-up electricity prices.  There is no excuse for Daniel Andrews to make Victorians pay for his ideological obsessions.
