Mikakos’ Supermax Backflip

Jenny Mikakos now supports a Youth Supermax despite having criticised it just three months ago.

In September last year I supported the idea of a Youth ‘Supermax’ prison for repeat violent young offenders.  The unsackable Jenny Mikakos then attacked the Liberal Nationals for this proposal on at least four occasions in Parliament.

How can Jenny Mikakos now be trusted to implement an idea that she doesn’t believe in?

If she thought it was a bad idea last year, why does she now think it’s a good idea?
