Melbourne Cup Carnival Train Strikes

Jacinta Allan needs to immediately intervene today and prevent the Melbourne Cup Carnival from being plunged into chaos by striking train drivers.
The Melbourne Cup is one of Australia’s greatest traditions and for Jacinta Allan to stand idly by and leave racegoers stranded or discourage Victorians from attending is deplorable.
Unlike Jacinta Allan, if racegoers are left stranded for hours because of cancelled trains, they will do so out in the elements, not in their own personal train station lounge funded by the taxpayer.
If Jacinta Allan won’t take action, then Daniel Andrews needs to step in to make sure her bungled handling of the Victorian transport system doesn’t infect the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
