Shadow Minister for Roads and Industry, Ryan Smith
Today in Question Time, Jacinta Allan incorrectly claimed that the former Liberal Nationals Government didn’t remove or fund the removal of any level crossings.
Jacinta Allan is now clearly taking advice from George Costanza who once said: “It’s not a lie if you believe it.”
The former Liberal Nationals Government removed or funded the removal of 13 level crossings, many of which Daniel Andrews has shamelessly taken credit for. Planning to remove a further seven level crossings was also underway.
The former Liberal Nationals Government removed or funded the removal of more level crossings than the Bracks-Brumby Government did in 11 years.
The Andrews Labor Government is incapable of telling the truth, whether it is about level crossing removals, the cost of tearing up the East West Link, verballing the President of the Fair Work Commission, misrepresenting the health of a senior member of the CFA or the decline in first responder police numbers.
