Despite claiming to make Victoria the Education State, the latest results have shown that our figures have flatlined and in some cases have gone backwards.

The message is clear for Daniel Andrews, stop focusing on implementing ideological programs like Safe Schools across Victoria and start focusing on the basics such as numeracy and literacy.

Victorian children won’t get better jobs if their education doesn’t include better literacy and numeracy skills.

More of the same won’t work.  That’s why the Liberal Nationals are focusing on policies that shift the conversation from just being about how much money is spent to teaching standards and curriculum.
