Daniel Andrews’ own citizens’ jury calls for EWL

The people’s panel set up by Infrastructure Victoria has confirmed what everyone already knew – Victorians want the East West Link built.

Daniel Andrews’ hand-picked infrastructure advisers will release a report which shows that Victorians regard the construction of the East West Link as a ‘high priority’.

If it were not for Daniel Andrews’ bloody minded decision to tear up the East West Link contract, costing Victorians over $1 billion, this congestion busting piece of infrastructure would be well on its way to completion and employing thousands of local people.

Instead, Daniel Andrews has wasted over $1 billion in taxpayers’ money which could have been used to build a major new hospital or over 60 brand new schools.

The only plan Daniel Andrews has for motorists in the southern and south-eastern suburbs, is for them to pay more tolls for longer on the Monash Freeway to help fund a western distributor.

For Daniel Andrews to continue to deny that the East West Link should be built is to deny the obvious.
