The Liberal Nationals will support moves to enhance public safety but we will not be a party to a stealth attempt to legislate against Uber drivers.

All public transport passengers deserve a safe ride.  The Liberal Nationals introduced PSOs at train stations and have a strong record in this area.

But Jacinta Allan has been caught red handed trying to re-outlaw Uber by stealth.

There is nothing to stop Jacinta Allan and Daniel Andrews from changing their proposed legislation to ensure passengers are kept safe whilst protecting the thousands of jobs created by Uber.

At a time when their government is imploding over the CFA crisis, Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan are trying to sneak this through to clean up a mess of their own making.

This is a chaotic and dysfunctional government that is lurching from one disaster to the next.
