On many occasions Daniel Andrews has said that “equality is not negotiable in Victoria”, but it appears his actions don’t match his rhetoric.
Reports that the Human Rights Commission has ruled that up to 12 clauses in the UFU’s proposed deal with Daniel Andrews’ could be discriminatory towards women, parents, carers and people with disabilities, is more proof that Daniel Andrews is a hypocrite.
Daniel Andrews likes to talk a lot about respecting others, but he doesn’t practice what he preaches.
The complete lack of respect that the Premier has shown to Minister Jane Garrett and the CEO of the CFA, Lucinda Nolan, also raises questions about his treatment of female colleagues. At best his behaviour has been unprofessional.
Victorians recently witnessed Daniel Andrews making nasty personal comments in the workplace about a colleague’s weight. This is a premier who clearly believes in the maxim: ‘do as I say, not as I do’.
