Geoff Howard must stand up for the CFA and stand up to Daniel Andrews

As Daniel Andrews meets with his Cabinet today to decide on the fate of our 60,000 strong volunteer CFA, Geoff Howard must publicly stand up for the residents and CFA volunteers in his seat of Buninyong.

Geoff Howard has been hiding from the media and refusing to say who he supports.  If Geoff Howard supports the unions over the CFA volunteers and residents in Buninyong, then he should just say so.

The CFA saves lives and protects homes and property but Geoff Howard has gone missing in action when the CFA needs his support.

Geoff Howard has often taken advantage of media opportunities with his local CFA volunteers but it now appears that he was doing that for his own political gain.

If Geoff Howard really does support his local community and the heroic volunteers of the CFA, he will publicly declare his support today before Cabinet rubber stamps Daniel Andrews’ grubby union deal.
