Where is Minister Jane Garrett?

The Country Fire Authority is facing the biggest crisis in its history and the Emergency Services Minister Jane Garrett is nowhere to be found.

If the UFU is allowed to take-over and cannibalise the CFA, Victoria will lose tens of thousands of volunteer firefighters, putting our state at greater fire risk.

Premier Daniel Andrews is backing the UFU’s hostile take-over of the CFA all the way from New York.

Deputy Premier James Merlino has not hesitated to front the media and back the UFU.

But Emergency Services Minister Jane Garrett has gone into hiding.

Jane Garrett may now be the only thing standing between Daniel Andrews and the CFA’s oblivion but she is nowhere to be found.
