The Liberal Nationals welcome any measures that will make Victorian roads safer.
Drink-drivers are a significant cause of fatalities on our roads and putting a stop to people mixing alcohol and cars must be a priority for not just government but the entire community.
This is why the former Liberal Nationals Government expanded the alcohol interlock program in 2014 to apply to several more groups of drink drivers including probationary drivers and repeat offenders.
The first priority of every government must be to keep the community safe and the Liberal Nationals will always support tough consequences for those who put lives at risk.
