Andrews Government Failing Students and Parents

The Andrews Government’s priorities are completely backwards if it thinks that the education system is its opportunity to force particular value-sets on children rather than improve literacy and numeracy.
After 18 months in office, the Andrews Government is more focused on its social agenda than literacy and numeracy in Victorian schools.
Instead, Daniel Andrews and James Merlino have become obsessed with trying to force their own values on other people’s children and use the public education system to do it.
Our children will one day be competing with children from other states like New South Wales for well-paying jobs, but under Daniel Andrews they aren’t getting the education they need. Instead they are getting things like Safe Schools, Respectful Relationships and now attempts to start invasion day debates.
Daniel Andrews and James Merlino need to spend less time trying to force their own values on other people’s children and focus more on improving poor literacy and numeracy standards in schools.
