The Andrews Labor Government has descended into chaos.
Daniel Andrews is at direct odds with his own minister and has now cut her out of the loop to do a secret backroom deal with the UFU to let them take control of the CFA.
The UFU is demanding that a new enterprise agreement for firefighters include a UFU run veto board.
A veto board will ultimately allow the UFU to have the last say on all CFA/MFB decisions, rendering Victoria’s fire services a puppet on the UFU’s string.
Millions of Victorians rely on volunteer firefighters to protect them and their communities from fire. A UFU takeover of the CFA puts this in jeopardy, something even Daniel Andrews’ own minister knows.
Victorians deserve a Premier that will govern in the best interests of the state, not in the best interests of his mates.
