Shadow Minister for Police, Edward O’Donohue
Under Daniel Andrews crime rates are up but police numbers are down and police stations have closed or reduced hours.
There is no point introducing new laws if we don’t have more police to enforce them and a justice system that is strong enough to impose proper punishments.
Daniel Andrews likes to talk the talk but he doesn’t walk the walk.
The Liberal Nationals Coalition welcomes any new laws that make the community safer and we will examine the details of these proposed laws when they reach the Parliament.
However, without the release of the Harper Review, the community doesn’t have a full understanding of the recommendations made.
