Shadow Minister for Racing, Tim Bull, said Peter Moody’s announcement that he was walking away from horse training was sad news for the racing industry.

“I first met Peter many years ago when publicity officer for Gippsland Racing. In my dealings with him from that point to this day I can only describe him is as being a friendly, helpful and very genuine person,” Mr Bull said.

“His departure from the industry will hurt thoroughbred racing, but through his association with the mighty Black Caviar and other champions he will be always considered one of the greats.”
