Comments from the Shadow Police Minister Edward O’Donohue
Under Daniel Andrews crime rates are up but police numbers are down.
Crime in the Craigieburn area has risen by more than 20 per cent over the past year.
Daniel Andrews’ response to this crime wave has been to watch while police stations close, police numbers per capita are cut and new gangs commit drive by shootings and undertake crime sprees with arrogance and contempt for our community.
Serious crimes such as break and enter, theft, drugs, weapons and explosive offences have all grown alarmingly.
Comments from Craig Ondarchie, Member for Northern Metropolitan Region
Daniel Andrews’ is failing the people of Craigieburn with his soft approach to crime.
