The revelations in the IBAC hearing into the Ultranet scandal are deeply disturbing.
It raises serious questions about what was going on inside the Brumby Cabinet, which included Daniel Andrews and Tim Pallas, to make sure due diligence was being done when key decisions around Ultranet were made.
That Labor Cabinet, which included Daniel Andrews and Tim Pallas, made some serious judgment errors such as the desal plant, Myki and Ultranet.
Is it little wonder that Victorians are so concerned that the same people who ticked these dud projects off are now responsible for making decisions worth billions of dollars on Metro Rail and Sky Rail.
