Daniel Andrews must facilitate the passage of the Adoption Amendment (Adoption by Same-Sex Couples) Bill in Parliament on Tuesday.
The Bill, amended and passed in the Legislative Council ten days ago, will be debated in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
The adoption rules are precisely the same as those that apply to heterosexual couples.
Whilst Daniel Andrews may not like legitimate amendments made in the Legislative Council, he should not petulantly block the immediate passage of this important Bill.
