Attendance of children at cage fights

Today in Question Time in the Legislative Council, the Minister for Families & Children was asked if as the minister responsible for the child protection system, and therefore effectively the parent of children in and out of home care in Victoria, she could assure that those vulnerable children will not be attending the UFC cage fights scheduled for this weekend.
The minister refused to rule out taking any action to protect these vulnerable children from attending.
What Daniel Andrews and Jenny Mikakos are effectively saying is that it’s okay for vulnerable children under their watch to attend an event that glamorises violence.
Once again Daniel Andrews is setting double standards and failing to send a strong message to the community about violence and respect.
