More job losses in North West Victoria: ABS figures today

The official ABS figures out today showed that North West Victoria has lost 15,800 full-time jobs since December 2014.

The number of full-time jobs in North West Victoria has fallen from 51,400 in December 2014 to 35,600 in September 2015, according to the ABS.

There has been a loss of 3500 full-time jobs in North West Victoria in the last month alone.

Daniel Andrews came to office promising to deliver 100,000 full-time jobs within two years but in just nine months North West Victoria has already lost a further 15,800 full-time jobs.

With regional Victoria already being punished by Labor scrapping the Coalition’s Country Roads and Bridges Program and with tough conditions for farmers, Daniel Andrews’ failure to deliver on his jobs promise is hurting local communities even more.
