The official ABS figures out today showed that Geelong has lost 5,500 full-time jobs since December 2014.
The number of full-time jobs in Geelong has fallen from 76,300 in December 2014 to 70,800 in September 2015, according to the ABS.
Quotes attributable to the Shadow Minister for Investment and Jobs Craig Ondarchie:
These figures shine a glaring light on the failure of Daniel Andrews to deliver on his jobs promise.
Daniel Andrews came to office promising to deliver 100,000 full-time jobs within two years but in less than a year Geelong has already lost a further 5500 full-time jobs.
The loss of thousands of full-time jobs in Geelong is terrible news for the region and points to a lack of any effective jobs plan by Daniel Andrews or John Eren.
