Shadow Minister for Investment and Jobs, Craig Ondarchie
In April 16 this year, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews signed a formal agreement with his South Australian Labor mate Jay Weatherill, committing the two states to a higher level of cooperation to help deliver jobs to the defence sector.
This week, we saw a federal government funding commitment for defence shipbuilding jobs only in South Australia.
Quotes attributable to Shadow Minister for Investment and Jobs, Craig Ondarchie:
“Daniel Andrews has been asleep at the helm whilst his SA Labor mate scooped up all the defence shipbuilding works.
“Not only does Daniel Andrews have to cope with his Victorian Labor MPs doing him over, his South Australian comrades have pinched Victoria’s jobs.
“Seems like his agreement with Jay Weatherall was not worth the paper it was written on.
“Daniel Andrews’ Labor government should have spent more time promoting Victorian jobs than just infighting over their own jobs.”
