THE Liberal Nationals are taking action to protect our police who put their lives on the line to keep us safe, says Shadow Minister for Police Edward O'Donohue.
Today the Liberal Nationals bill to crackdown on ramming police vehicles has passed the Legislative Council 20-18. Labor and the Greens today voted against tougher laws and penalties to protect our police.
It’s now up to Daniel Andrews and the Government to do the right thing, listen to police and pass this bill immediately in the Legislative Assembly.
This bill to protect our police could be law tomorrow if Daniel Andrews leaves politics aside and acts.
While Daniel Andrews dithers and distracts from the problem in a desperate attempt to avoid talking about this law and order crisis, the Liberal Nationals are acting.
This crime tsunami means no one is safe, not even our police and Daniel Andrews is too weak to act.
