Comments from the Shadow Police Minister Edward O’Donohue

Under Daniel Andrews crime rates are up but police numbers are down.

Crime in the Ararat area has risen by more than 15 per cent over the past year.

Victoria is now seeing crimes like drive by shootings, car jacking and home invasions that only a few years ago were nothing more than news reports from overseas or a scene from a Hollywood movie. These crimes are unacceptable and should never be tolerated.

Comments from Louise Staley, Member for Ripon

Daniel Andrews can’t afford to go soft on crime.

Local residents are paying the price because Daniel Andrews has walked away from police numbers.
